Luxury Safari
As the name suggests, a Luxury safari offers you more comfort and style than the Standard safari.
Liveaboard boats are continually improving in standards and services provided and safari boats considered luxury 10 years ago
are now the "standard" boats of today.
In turn, the "luxury" safari boat is typically broken down into either 4 or 5 star. A 4 star boat will normally have
full ensuite facilities for all cabins with full air-conditioning in both the cabins and the salon. The spacious salon will
have a TV, video/DVD player and a stereo sound system. The 5 star boat will essentially provide the same but with several possible
additions, such as individual temperature controls, minibars, TV’s and satellite telephones in the cabins. Spacious "honeymoon"
suites are now becoming common, as are baths in addition to showers in the ensuites and sit down meals to international cuisine
standards, instead of buffet style. Noise from compressors, generators and a/c units is minimal as they are of the silent variety
and tucked away out of sight.
Both 4 and 5 star boats may offer extras such as E-6 photo processing facilities, nitrox fills and rebreather diving.
